Region 33 is proud to have so many active volunteers helping to make the Balboa Bark soccer experience f the best in the San Fernando Valley, for our kids and the entire family.

Referees

Referees control the game.  In AYSO the referee not only keeps the time and calls the penalties. The referee is the guardian of the core philosophies of  AYSO.   They promote good sportsmanship. They teach our players the rules of the game. They enforce positive coaching. And most importantly, they ensure the games are safe for our kids.

Referees are treated with the respect they deserve and are some of the most valued of all our volunteers here in region 33.  WE ALWAYS NEED DEDICATED REFS. One way we reward our volunteer referees by ensuring their children a spot on a team at no cost, for our prestigious Turkey Tournament. So if your child loves the game he or she will definitely want to be part of our Thanksgiving tradition. And they only way to gain entry is through your volunteering. So volunteer today!
